1. My favourite song of all time is Zooropa. I love any song with a great build-up play and catchy bass but this song is an epic-ly important part of me.

My tour moment was therefore in the crowd in Sao Paolo, having travelled from Dublin to see South America, night 2 when my all-time favourite song was played for the first time in 18 years. Incredible. One of those great moments in life where you start to believe in fate.

I had missed SP1 due to buying a fake ticket and sat outside the stadium for the gig, only managing to sneak in for the last encore so I was very excited to see what turned out to be my last 360 concert the next night. I also take a sense of pride having seen what I believe is the best version of Zooropa live, given that it was nailed and that after Sao Paolo another half verse was taken out of the song. Say what you want but it misses something when the
    "And I have no religion...
    And I don't know what's what.
    I don't the limit..."

    is excluded.
  2. Ultraviolet at Sheffield, my favourite song at my first U2 concert
  3. Bad in Pittsburgh. There really aren't words useful enough to describe that moment. Perfect end to an amazing tour for me.
  4. Not the best moment but the funniest for me was during first night in Chicago 09 my 6"5 friend got grabbed and drug out of the inner circle for grabbing onto the moving bridges. I turned and got a pic at the moment of his surrender. He had to watch the rest of the show at the soundboard area and was told to stay until show was over.
  5. Oh, and If you told me in 2005 after my last Vertigo show that 4 year later I would get to see U2 play
    UF
    Ultraviolet Light
    Zooropa
    Your Blue Room
    The Fly
    The Wanderer
I would of said you were crazy and U2 would never played all of those. So all of those 5 shows I saw in 2009 and 2011 were great moments.
  6. The Fly at Anaheim 2 I had to wrap my head around the song being played in front of me LOL I was like WHATTTTT
  7. Wow, too many to choose from. How bout seeing them for the first time ever live back in 09' in Toronto?

But I think the moment that really did it for me, overall, was being in Moncton and seeing Dallas give Adam the black strat, and seeing Stuart give Edge Adam's bass, and then the band kicking off 40.

  8. LIGHTS GOING OUT FOR EVEN BETTER THAN THE REAL THING <333
  9. So many amazing moments, so many shows, but my absolute single highlight would have to be the entirety of Sydney 2. We had the perfect night. Front rail pit positions in Adamland. Jay-z and his guitarist Sean were super sweet to us during their set (we got stuff!) and then we had that fantastic U2 setlist. And then there was this:

That's my friend and co-conspirator, Ayesha, up there with Bono. I hadn't seen this video before now and hadn't realised there was anything from that angle. One of those blurry figures is me.

I'm so glad this vid didn't end up on tv at the time, seeing as I'd called in sick to work to run off to Sydney. One of the best irresponsible decisions I ever made.

  10. That was one interesting setlist party
