  1. I hear there some kinda 30 hour world peace concert coming up? Can someone confirm it? I also hear U2 has been asked to participate. Think they will? My gut says yes unless they are in the studio.

    And this kind of rumours are floating around every week by the way, every charity thing gets his own event in rumours.

  7. Charity concerts are useful but a World Peace one, come on that's too ambitious.

    Since the dawn of time there has always been conlict throughout the world and that is never going to change. Years of conflict is not going to be solved by a series of concerts throughout the world. If only if it was that easy.
  8. World peace concerts already happened in smaller settings during the last years. A big "world peace concert" would be pointless. All that these big events can do is to raise awareness. And in this case that's not needed. Everyone knows that world peace is needed but an utopia.

    World Peace One ia a 30-Hour "Live" concert event, designed to raise awareness for world peace and to raise funds for humanitarian relief, originating from sixteen cities around the world. The event is scheduled for December 8 and 9, 2007. The World Peace One concerts are being organized by a production team called World Peace One-World Peace Ten.
