    Super 8 is a film in the tradition of SF that made the heyday of Speilberg ! .. there is JJ Abrams takes over with this super 8 right out of the 70s! script, casting and spurious effects of very high quality!

    special mention for Joel Courtney, 15, and main actor of this film!
  6. Fellowship of the Ring

    I'm a huge fan of the books (read them at least five times) and I know the movie doesn't come close to how good the books are, but it still is a great movie. I'll never forget seeing it several times in theaters. It was about as good of a job that they could have done adapting these epic books (unlike the Harry Potter movies).

    Both the books and the movies are great.

  10. Watched Something Borrowed - with my wife, I swear - the other night. Why do they have to keep making these "rom coms?" They can;t be that profitable, can they?

    I've also been catching up on Season 4 of "Breaking Bad" - awesome show.
