1. obviously rap/ hip-hop isnt that popular with hardcore U2 fans ...
  2. I like just Beastie Boys, which is not a real hip-hop. The rest of hip-hop and R&B scene is just black guy with golden chains (and with "fuck" and "shit" after every word of lyrics) and almost naked girls shakin their ass - that's the most interesting on that
  3. I saw The Beastie Boys at Maple Leaf Gardens in Toronto back in 1994. Pretty good show despite having the worst seats in the house. Although I agree with you that these guys aren't real hip-hop, they most certainly acted as a bridge between rock and rap. Just as, if not more, influencial as the Run DMC/Aerosmith collaboration.
  4. I like the HOUSE OF PAIN!
  5. I like quite a lot of Australian hip-hop, Hilltop Hoods, The Herd, Bliss n Eso, that kind of thing.

Also Kanye's last album and the new one he's just released with Jay-Z.
  6. Snoop Dogg's Doggystyle and Eminem's Slim Shady LP are my 2 favourite rap albums; they're both an hour of nothing but great beats, catchy tunes and misogyny.
