1. Trying things with it. It's a good start.

When I hear the right sound I'll know it - though it can take time to come up with something extra.
  2. Oh the key, yeah doesn't matter I don't think.

  3. You sure? The Garageband sounds are automatically in the key you've said the project is in I think...

There could of course be a key change though.
  4. Ahhh ok. So far no problems, though I'm sure if I need it I'll get the key re-done.

  5. I think GB automatically retunes everything if you just change the key of the project, so that would still mean that it would be all wrong. I bet there's some way around it though, I can already think of one, but I think it would make the project file a lot bigger.
  6. OK, well I can start it again but have the Key in C major? How's that?
  7. That's what the key is set to at the moment, but the piano I did was in G.
  8. It's hard to come up with something, harder than I thought.
  9. Maybe i could just rerecord and set everything right?
  10. You can, but we need a better idea than what we've got. Just trying to create something even similar to Slug, sort of, is just way too hard. A basic rock song perhaps or something a bit more straightforward.

Not that not creating an Original Soundtracks-like tune is impossible but it's more difficult than I thought.
  11. I think we could build on our current idea, just take it in a little different direction.

Yesterday I had an idea that you could record some harmonica through the guitar amps in Garageband. Could be cool I think. What key is your harmonica in?
