    Yep. I completely agree. I listened to all of NLOTH the other day and really enjoyed it. Even songs I didn't really like when it first came out (Unknown Caller, Fez) I really enjoyed. It seems like every one of their albums can do that to me.

  4. No, he's NOT saying that. You can like whatever you want to like (and dislike) but don't dislike a song because it's too mainstream nor like a song just because is was written/performed by U2. Like what you want and accept that others will have different tastes.

    I like a tonne of the hits and find it difficult to compare them with the non-hits. For this reason, I made two lists. Throw in live versions of songs and it gets even more difficult to rank them.

    Mood definitely plays a factor - an U2 has a song for each mood. If I am trying to relax, "Vertigo" isn't the best choice but if I am trying to energize myself, I prefer not to listen to "So Cruel."

    Favorite version of each
    Streets - probably Rattle and Hum DVD, Sydney or Boston, I like a lot of 360 versions with the "love, love, love" too. But I really can't decide. It's best year was 1987 though.
    Bad - Live Aid 1985, 12 mins long. My dream is that U2 will mirror that performance on their final show.
    One - Sydney

    East Rutherford 86, Self Aid, Dublin radio 93 and New York 2001 SBD comes to mind.
