  1. What Wembley 2003 show did Shankar play violin on BAD with U2? Anyone know? Any help is greatly appreciated.

    And he played violin on the concert of 12th August (1993-08-12).

I was there,and to this day,I am convinced The Edge never played the electric guitar on I Will Follow.As soon as the opening riff started,all four looked back to the main stage.And if you listen it's too "text book" a playing.............could be completly wrong like,but it was 14 years ago.... Anyone got a video of this ??

    "Nothing Like a hard cut" Bono says at the start of I Will Follow........I must say I hear nothing out of the ordinary here gmc

    From the recordings I have, the next version performed was at RDS on the 27th......sounds pretty much the same, in terms of melody and rhythm etc

    But having said all of that I was't there on the 12th you were!

    try 1993-05-10 - Rotterdam. Theres definatley a strong wiff of acoustic on I Will Follow. Itsunlike any other version i'veheard
