I was around (13 years old) when JT was released and it was a pretty big deal back then. I was too young to "anticipate" its release (like I did with ever album from Achtung Baby onwards) but it was the album that initiated my love for this band - especially the first three songs (and Running to Stand Still).

  3. Not really into "United Colours" but am loving the "Slug" and "Your Blue Room" sequence. So relaxing.

  4. Although it's not my "favourite" song (probably since it was before my time), I tend to agree with you - even stated so earlier this week in the "Greatest Song of All Time" thread.

    Pure genius.
  5. I've listened to it this morning and I was struck by the fact that I hadn't listened to it in full for a long, long time. Maybe since the end of June

Moreover, I'm burning a self-ordered copy of Achtung Baby for my mum's car (she hates the CD order almost as much as me, "too rollercoaster" for us) and I'm loving each moment of it. Gotta love doing transitions before songs
  6. What's your ordering for AB? And what "transitions" do you do?

  7. I listen to this album in a loop since several months ! I think I'm in love
