1. I have been thinking a lot lately if still worth spending several hours in photoshop only to post every concert with it's specific cover and then to be surprised by find the job properly defaced, destroyed, illustrating that same concert now in a damn selling bootlegs website. I have seriously considered quitting...
I decided to share my outrage here, with the evidence of what I'm saying, to share with the true fans of U2 the bitter taste I feel.
I think that deep down we are a bunch of romantic, free sharing our passion for music and for this band in particular, while this guys who do not appreciate anything but the damn profit do whatever it takes to get it.
I hate watermarks, but if I want to continue to spend hours producing covers for the discs i post in my blog, as I do now, I'll be forced to put many watermarks and in locations that can not be used. Besides i guess i must put the slogan "made by fans for fans, not for sale." do not buy this disc, download for free .. . whatever.
In a quick look at the damn site, I found several covers made by me, all disfigured.
Take a Look on what he did to the U2start's logo, what it turned into:

here the original artwork that i did and shared here, in the first post of this thread:

and here in what has become...

    the damn site:

I would like to hear from you, but frankly I'm bored, bored, lose hours doing it to see my work destroyed in this way, hours I could be with my children, you know, doing something better than working for free for a thief motherfucker
  2. It's a battle you can't win. As soon as it's online it's no longer yours. Tapers often travel the world only to find their stuff being sold forprofit.
  3. Taking credit for someone else's work and then fucking it up is just a shitty thing to do. Karma will get this weasel eventually>
