Hello all!

My name is Jacqueline and I found this site rather accidentally, well, maybe ironically because I was googling 'MacPhisto', haha! Um, let's see. Well, I've been a U2 fan on and off since 1992 and I was only 13 or 14 at the time, so seeing this guy in tight leather and dark sunglasses sure helped my 'hormones', ahem! But, I first got to see them live during the Popmart Tour, and the last time was during the 360 Tour in July. Enjoyed it both times, but I probably enjoyed myself more during 360 because I was getting into other things and drifted away from U2 for a couple of years. I was quite surprised when I did go that they still played a good amount of 'Achtung' songs. 'Achtung' was the first 'REAL music' cassette I ever gotten, it was for Christmas '92, and it was also one of the first CDs I bought after getting a CD player, haha.

What impressed me about this band (and still impresses me) is that they are so confident in doing different things, just to ensure that they won't be stuck in the same type of sound forever. You get pretty bored pretty fast if you stick to the safe stuff too long, so reading about how 'Achtung' in U2 By U2 was made was really fascinating. I'll likely get into more detail myself later, because I have things to do, but I was shocked to find that the Popmart show I went to was available in AUDIO form(6/8/97)! That sealed the deal for me to join this site, haha! I never thought I would hear that again or at all after so long! Anyway, nice to meet you all and thanks webmasters for making this site so awesome.
