1. I haven't listened to Vertigo Tour boots in awhile. I went on an involuntary diet for a bit.

For the hell of it, I came back and listened to bits of Leg 5, Sao Paolo and Buenos Aires...

HOLY $#!+!!!! The boys were ON FIRE, nothing short. Complain about the setlist, complain about Bono's voice, I say that's BS. IMO it's PURELY 100% a result of U2 over-saturation. Do yourself a favor, enjoy other music (or U2 eras) for a while, take a break, then come back and re-discover what it is to be blown away by U2's genius.

lol, seems like you really enjoyed 'rediscovering' those boots, good for you I have the same thing with certain songs, don't listen to them for while and then afterwards they sound better than ever....
  3. Yeah, I stopped listening to them for about two months or so. I checked Sao Paulo and Buenos Aires, and his voice was absolutely brilliant. I would have tried Honolulu but I've lost it somewhere. But yeah, you stop listening, come back and you can't believe how great they sound!

if you think they are good go get some of the actual 5th leg shows (I personally suggest all 3 Saitama shows). Performances match Buenos Aires and Sao Paulo except this time, Bono has the voice to keep up with the band

it would have been only 4 legs if the complications didn't arise so you were correct. I just refer to the South American shows as the 4th Leg. Still get some of the Saitama shows
  9. I agree with you on the taking a break part...i haven't listened to the Vertigo stuff in eons. I really don't like that tour or the one before it, they only things i have been listening to are Pop-Mart, ZOO TV, and Joshua Tree.

i've always thought the quality of this boot was a little crapper than it should be. The DVD audio is much better. Some of the quality hase been lost on the version posted here
