1. listening to the SBS demo now...
  2. Still wish there was a higher-quality version of Mercy. The girl who ripped it originally thought a 128kbps WMA was good in 2006. Nah.

There are several high quality recordings of the new version, you'll get one with the Paris DVD.
  4. No no I meant the original Mercy.
  5. Yeah, I understood that, it's really a shame that the leaked version has bad quality.
  6. Absolutely. U2 should have released it instead of that awful Gonna Wait Forever song.

Just wait for the 20th anniversary Super Deluxe Remastered edition.
  8. In an overpriced $1200 box. I would pay $500 if it included every single demo U2 have ever recorded and 12 hours studio footage.
  9. Drew, I have a version of Mercy on my harddrive, was there long before the 360 went along...but it doesn't say what the bitrate is. how can I find out?

All the versions originate from the 128kbit/s version.
  11. I see.
  12. Right-click, Properties and then Details, should say there. They all do originate from that source, the original CD given to this girl by Bono, who was on Interference and ripped it at 128kbps for all of us.

To this day, Bono still has no idea how it got out there.
