This is not your usual recording of U2. In fact, if you honestly want to just listen to some good U2 sounds, don't even bother with this. Download Mr. Foo's original audience (very good once I actually gave it a critical listen) or a myriad of other sources (BP's source or the 3 source Matrix). You'll enjoy those more.
This recording is for the geeks, like me. Geeks who like hearing all the random backstage stuff. The geeks who see/listen/record too many shows, and want to hear something new and different. This is a recording of the lighting crew talkback channel. In the original feed, there is absolutely no music. The only hint of music you get is when the channel engages and you get some bleed over. Just to make it SOMEWHAT listenable, I mixed in the audience source, but it's low.
Noticeable flaws: didn't finally get around to tuning in the frequency until Mysterious Ways, so no talking there. I tuned the scanner to another freq for Beautiful Day + Elevation, so nothing there. There is the occasional buzz, either from the scanner or just their intercom setup. Most of the time its lighting direction, but there is some amusing conversions.
Is it good for music? Nah. But it's a fun geek recording. Enjoy the novelty folk.
Special thanks to Mr. Foo for his excellent audience source. Nicely done.

Usually at the end of torrents, I put something about "don't sell", "don't mp3", "don't remaster", "don't retorrent", etc. I honestly don't really care for this recording. If somebody can make a buck off this recording, I think that's pretty funny. Not that I think it's good, but a laugh. Anyways, mp3 away for this one.
