1. or just like Peter gabriel he is bringing out a CD with his songs played by the New blood ochestra..(.this is the ochestra he played with on his last tour ).. just his greatest hits on the special edition there will be one extra cd with only the instrumental versions of these songs
  2. I was thinking that the guys should work with the Fish Out Of Water people for their next album. I love the remixes we've heard from them. It would be a new producer, and it would be great for the hugely well known band to work with up and comers on a new album. Do we know any other mixes aside from Boots, Crazy and Even Better Than The Real Thing?
  3. today I thought that when there's this massive U2 gathering in Dublin next year, Bono and Edge will be cool enough to surprise us with an unannounced visit and a bit of playing and singing. I mean, the whole town will be occupied by us, and they've done spontanous things like that before. Show up somewhere and play, I mean. So there.
  4. My thinking is more nostalgic at the moment. I saw the guys live in July for the first time in ages, and though I've drifted away from them for a couple of years, I guess you can never really leave them. It's like family, I suppose, you love them, but sometimes they're annoying and you need time away. But eventually, you come back and realize that you're glad they're in your life. I came to that realization after the concert, and it's a pretty amazing feeling. So, I guess I'm thinking that I'm pretty damn glad I got to know these guys in the 90s as a teen so I can appreciate what they've done as a thirtysomething today. That sounds kind of cheesy, but that's how it is for me right now.

  6. Happy birthday The Unforgettable Fire

I'll probably watch Dortmund 1984 and something more in its memory.
  7. Not one of you guys have mentioned
    ''The Saints are Coming''.

    I love this topic btw!
  8. I have u2 visions!

    I have had some seriously
    mind-blowing real u2 experiences...

.... oh Yes! But I don't want to get anyone into trouble.

    So my lips are sealed.

    For tonight anyway... heehee

Tell you tomorrow if you're lucky.

If there was a degree to be had in U2 studies...
    you guys would be Masters.

    I love it here. xxx

Big fan of the "Get On Your Boots" remix, not heard the other two. Can you point me in the direction of where I'd find them?
