nice the come back of the Alien.
i thought of a longer setlist for extemporaneous shows such as these ones.
    let's see tonite

True.Sometimes when bands this popular, they play slightly shorter setlists in smaller venues.Maybe tonight will be a longer set.

I so wish I could have attended this gig,or tonights.I sulked in my apt,in TriBeCa,listening to Kid A and drinking a bottle of good French wine.....

Agree. The Daily Mail is super. I loe the build up in that song. Classic RH (i.e., not too many blips and beeps).

It'll be interesting to see what non-KOL tracks they play. I wonder if they'll pull out a few more "rockers" as they seem to play many of their mellower tracks last night?

Hopefully there'll be some solid recordings of these two shows posted in the near future.
  5. I like the King of Limbs, but i don't really think it is a "tourable" album. none of the songs sound all that interesting live to me. HOWEVER, on the album, Bloom, Give up the Ghost, Separator and Codex are glorious.
  6. and Lotus Flower*

True. The thing is,why did the band wait so long to come out and do this big promotion ? SNL ,the Colbert Report,2 gigs in Manhattan.KOL has long since died a quick death.Im glad the band are here in my city, but again, what took so long ? Why now ? And why such small fucking venues !!????

I thought when this cd was released,in the dead of winter ,that I would have seen them at MSG in the spring,or July.......

LF is a solid track,I thought these tunes would have sounded a bit, heavier live,as the tunes from Kid A did live, compared to the studio versions.KOL is too...muddy sounding......IMO of course.......kind of like the Eraser...Analyse is a great tune I must say....

supercollider was released earlier this year as a vinyl single i believe (record store day?) anyways, it's a really interesting song that i would not really have thought would work live. really wanna see video of it.

this setlist looks good as well!
  11. uhm same set of the first night, just few changes in song positions .. and Supercollider in place of Street spirit

    night 1

like i said since the first time what i think of King is that it's more likely a Thom Yorke album than a Radiohead one.
it's not that i don't like The eraser, on the contrary, but Radiohead are "something" else for me.
