1. Okay. Point depot 31st defo exists fully. We saw 40 in VHS quality, with some degradation, but maybe not all point depot shows were pro shot. the 30th dream it all up again speech was just audio. If they had that surely it wouldve been in...
  2. That documentary was brilliant.
  3. Were you all drooling over the proshots too?
  4. The dublin early 91 footage just stunned me. What i would do for that footage....

  5. I don’t get how they were like “We hated what we’d become”, as you watch one of the most epic performances of Streets in history.

Well I'm certainly not too fond of that U2 period.

  7. I just feel that their lack of objectivity from those days when everything was moving so fast made them lose track of just how truly great so much of it was. Even if, through the tumultuousness, it didn’t appear so to them.
  8. And one more thing. Coldplay’s concert wasn’t half as good but was given twice as much attention to detail and a full airing without interruption.
  9. The documentary is perfect, I want to see it again and again! It's like an orgasm of inspiration
But as you can see, that days were really hard for the band..
  10. Unfortunately, although I quite enjoyed it, I was'nt as overwhelmed as most of you seem to have been...
I think it didn't focus that much on Achtung Baby or all the songs.
(=> maybe half an hour about R&H, Joshua Tree and everything else before AB etc.
=> We heard some snippets from most songs, just one big explanation for one song (One) )

Nevertheless, some interesting stuff for sure. With the construction of One and Edge playing Love Is Blindness as highlights.

PS some strange feelings over here when you see how the band struggled...
  11. In case there are fans who have not yet watched the documentary, it is STILL AVAILABLE ON BBC 1's website to be watched online for the next seven days!

The same applies to the Glastonbury performance which aired right after the documentary.
  12. Did they edit any songs out of the Glastonbury show?
