  1. Probably the only one on here but i'm a big Glasvegas fan so i think its great their on the CD, definitely get this when its in the stores.

  3. Just to inform you people outside of the UK that Great Magazines has after several e-mails confirmed that the CD WILL NOT be included with magazines shipped outside of the UK...

  6. I live in Central Europe and we always get the free CD's with Q and other music magazines. I have lots and lots of free gifts that came with Q. I suppose they don't ship the CD's to subscribers outside the UK because it's too expensive, but they always include them in the regular copies that are available on newsstands. And if not, there are still ways to order it or to get them from people in the UK. Not as complicated as that damn GQ Men Of The Year crap edition with Lara Stone on the cover: All of the U2 covers were kept in the UK and none made it over to other countries

    The Q CD will be available in one form or the other. The magazine itself will be interesting enough. Can't wait to have it.

    I'm in Berlin at the end of October, exactly when AB is coming out. How fitting. Maybe U2 will come to Berlin to do an extra promo thing.

    The Q cd's are always available with the magazines in Ireland, so I can't see this one being any different.
  8. patti smith did a performance at my school last night and i was invited to a little q and a she did before hand. someone brought up her cover for the cd and asked what made her want to do it and she responded with "they asked". she said that it was done at the end of the final night in the studio working on her album
    (she said she will be putting out a new album next year) and they all got into a "billie holiday frame of mind" and recorded it in about 20 minutes.

    i thought you guys would be interested
  9. I wasn't there (so correct me if I am not getting this right) but I can't say I'm too impressed with her seemingly lack of enthusiasm about her contribution to the project.

    yeah it was weird. she said something like "sometimes you do things for money, sometimes you do things because it's what you want, and sometimes you do it just because a friend asked you to". but i still think it will be great, she wouldn't half ass it or anything.
