1. Wow, A Man And A Woman, I'd never expect them to play it.
Most of you people don't like it, but it's actually one of my favorite acoustic U2 songs. And I don't really like HTDAAB

And Staring At The Sun returned after 10 years, kudos guys!!
(shame Bono fucked up the lyrics there, but hey, 10 years later, give him a break )
  2. Listening to the hole thing right now...They were in awesome shape!
  3. I bet Larry was having a right laugh at them fumbling around for a drum loop. Oh dear. Scrap the pathetic loop and you have a pretty decent song. I've never really disliked A Man and A Woman Strange that it was played live after so long really, I'd imagine that Larry and Adam either aren't keen on the track or would rather Bono/Edge play something else acoustically, a hit such as Stuck. Was good to hear ISHFWILF in acoustic form, Sunday Bloody Sunday was very nice as an acoustic piece, would perhaps make a welcome addition to the live set. Staring At The Sun....? Massive fan of the song, absolutely love the Pop/Elevation renditions but this version was rather odd, sounded a bit muddy. I liked One and I thought Bono did yet another admirable job during Miss Sarajevo. Good effort on the whole.

JEMS decided to record last night's show in spite of a worldwide webcast remembering what happened with 2009's Rose Bowl show. Because webcasts are inherently lossy, they can't be traded here or any other proper tracker, leaving us with nothing on U2T and largely MP3 versions elsewhere.

We had seats up close to the PA and I think the tape came out well.
The setlist certainly contains some major surprises. "A Man and a Woman" was dedicated the Chelsea Clinton and her husband Marc. It was more of a curiosity but still cool. "Staring at the Sun" fared much better and was easily the highlight of the night. But make no mistake, the boys struggled a bit and the show never really found a rhythm. But credit to them for playing three songs you wouldn't have expected.
    Hope you enjoy.

    Butterking for JEMS

  5. Thanks yeah

On our torrent section I have uploaded the stream copy of the Yahoo video. Remuxed it into MKV file with Chapters (so you can easily skip to songs).

Note that most MKV are HD, but this one isnt. It is the same 640x360 resolution with AAC audio.
