1. Let's hope it wasn't the final album that was leaked.
  2. DISAGREE with that review. Go listen to some Wilco or Dylan if that's what you want.

You can't achieve that sound of electronic music without the use of those types of sounds...I think Coldplay was TRYING to convolute the music a bit. What is it Edge says about industrial music in From The Sky Down? They take most of the humanity out of the music so that the humanity they put INTO it means a lot more. I think this Coldplay album holds true to that notion. Plus I love the sound of all of the electronic stuff. I'm happy they changed direction, I was getting bored with the "coldplay sound", and I think many others were too. I've sent the leaked album to about 5 people already, and they all agree that this is one of if not their best efforts.
  3. Everything after Princess of China is great.

    Ultimate Mylo Xyloto
    01 Mylo Xyloto
    02 Hurts Like Heaven
    03 Paradise
    04 Charlie Brown
    05 Us Against The World
    06 Major Minus
    07 U.F.O.
    08 Moving To Mars
    09 Up In Flames
    10 A Hopefull Transmission
    11 Princess of China
    12 Up With The Birds

+ Every song should fade over in the next

    Strongly agree.

If they put out another Viva La Vida, it would certainly have been their last successfull album.
  5. Moving to Mars was shit, probably worse than all songs on Mylo Xyloto IMO.

    Yep.

  7. I still think it should have been on the album.

It is better than Yellow or Fix You.

That's why they (wisely) left it as a B-side!

I've listened to the album -in any order, I don't like the song order too much- some other times today, and I reaffirm my opinion/review of yesterday night. Princess Of China isn't that bad today after I got used to it, but still pretty crappy. I would summarize it as more of a Rihanna song featuring Chris Martin than the opposite. And I don't like that. Anyway, Hurts Like Heaven is brilliant (catchy as fucking hell - and I still don't understand all the lyrics), Charlie Brown is too, and Flames and Birds are fantastic too. I want to learn some of this songs on guitar SO BADLY.

  9. Pardon the language, but:

  10. Shouldn't even be a B-side. They should have just sent it to the Recycle Bin.
  11. Not kidding you.

I heard those songs to much. Same for Streets.
