  1. The websockets error has been popping up again, ever 30 or so seconds. and when i use quick reply the page never reloads, i have to go back to the home page then back into the forum.

    edit: even when i try posting the old way the page seems to be loading but never actually loads.
  2. Thanks for reporting Andrew. We will look into it. The crew is still 'struggling' with LiveTopics a bit. But don't worry, everything will be fine in the end

    This is the risk of trying new stuff, but its the only way to make progress

  4. If I'm browsing on Chrome, is there any way to get the off-white banner at the top of the window to go away letting me know I can now get notifications for U2Start? I had them, didn't like them, so I disabled them...but I get the reminder probably about 1/2 the times I click a new link on the site.

    I realize this may be on my Chrome's end, I'm just trying to figure out how to make it go away if at all possible.

  5. Okay, I added a 'Dont ask me again' link to the information bar. If you dont see it do a hard refresh (CTRL F5 or CTRL R) or clean cache

    Why? I guess we could add an option to your preferences to disable it.

    I understand you. But what do you want: to disable the box for yourself? Or not appearing in the other users' boxes? Or both?

    For now if you can use Adblock (in FF or Chrome) to 'block' the user list
