Yeah mine too, especially the story behind it. Edge was so angry and sad because of his divorce in the early nineties that at one moment, he was recording the Love Is Blindness solo in the studio and Bono was really encouraging him and at the end of the solo the guitar strings broke, Edge was projecting all his anger into the solo.
And live off course, it's an amazing solo too But I also love the Bullet The Blue Sky & The Fly solos.
I think the Desire solo's are good too, especially the ones after the So You Want To Be A Rock 'n' Roll Star snippets, they're really out of this world.
All the solos tha have been quoted are amazing (Especially The Fly, Mystrious Ways) and Love Is Blindness to my mind, I add the one of Until The End of The World and the one of Walk On
Bad of course !11 (Live Aid ), Love is Blindness, The Fly a la Elevation Tour (Boston DVD!!!), Bullet the Blue Sky ZOOTV Tour, Silver and Gold , Mysterious Ways, Gone, Last Night on Earth, One of course, With or Without You a la ZOOTV .....for example
Love Is Blindness is a clear stand out, The Fly and Kite From Melbourne 18/11/06 (Being there helps I guess), Mysterious Ways...... Out Of Control and Electric Co. from the early days
Would love to have seen how Acrobat would have developed over the years had it been performed, Edge I'm sure would have come up with something amazing!!
All I want is you is my favorite one. It has around four or five different effects and the amazing thing is that they are just variations of two single notes, A and D. But the best thing with Edge is that his soloing is very easy to play, even in an acoustic you can hit glorious notes with very little effort. He's an amazing artist.
