that would be useless of them LOL although i bet SOMEHOW we'll end up with some of the rose bowl tracks im scared

i really want some of the regulars like UTEOTW, Streets, Pride, Zooropa (REGULAR?) and MW, but i hope its mainly stuff like BAD, all i want is you, love rescue me, north star, Batman, UV, MOS, Stay, etc etc. i want a good mix of rarities and good versions of the standards
  4. Previews sound not from the Rose Bowl as far I can remember,

where are the previews? in the subscription only section?
  6. I'm joining this year!!!!! U22 is very exciting news after three years of pretty crummy releases. I can't wait to see what's on it.

And, yes, not too much Rose Bowl please!

yep. 40 sec per track. Hope they really come with not earlier released shows such as Wembley/Sheffield/Rose Bowl etc. etc.
  8. This means I'll be joining for the first time. I really like this idea. Hopefully we will get a great track list.

No they don't. It's actually quite a nice initiative!

MW is from 2010, if not 2011. Breathe, Desire, NLOTH seem to come from very early shows. There's a mix of everything. U2 have so many outstanding live recordings... they should make all of this available for download, 5EUR per concert...
  11. Should be interesting to see what makes it...will there be much from NLOTH or more from AB? Will enough people vote for classics like "Bad" even though it was rarely played? I am not a u2.com subscriber (but willl likely be one soon!) so I haven't seen this preview list. If we were to be somewhat objective, understand that the audio from The Rose Bowl DVD can be easily ripped so we might ignore some tracks from that "era" and focus on 2010/2010, realize that the band gave up on 3 of the 7 NLOTH tunes, and pick a relatively stastically relevant setlist (i.e., I know many/most of us dislike "Crazy" but it still was played every night) the 22 songs would be something like:

    1. Even Better Than The Real Thing
    2. The Fly
    3. Mysterious Ways
    4. Until The End of The World
    5. Get On Your Boots
    6. Magnificient
    7. I Still Haven't Found...
    8. Stay
    9. Beautiful Day
    10. Elevation
    11. Zooropa
    12. City of Blinding Lights
    13. Vertigo
    14. I'll Go Crazy
    15. Sunday Bloody Sunday
    16. Walk On
    17. One
    18. Streets
    19. HMTMKMKM
    20. With or Without You
    21. Moment of Surrender
22....and something else in there like IWF, Pride, Bad, OOC, AIWIY (Nashville?), Mercy, ...

I realize that my list has next to no "character" but we could debate our personal preferences until were blue in the face...and I hope we do! Sure, I want UV on there, and how about "North Star?" Please, please no "Glastonbury." Anyway, it'll be interesting to see what 22 tracks make it...

,,,and I agree with JuJuman. Make all the shows (or at the very least the previewed songs) available for download. Then we can make our own compilations!

i agree they should make them all available to download, like Pearljam and Powderfinger do.

... but this is a great release, after getting absolute shit in the mail for the last 2 years im glad they've listened to us, this idea is great.
