Plenty of fans love songs like Pride and Streets just as much as they do Zooropa, if not more. You can't bash the majority, because that's what counts in the end.

I agree, and I'd rather have a live album full of songs we wouldn't be likely hearing, but at hte same time this way of doing it makes the most people happy.
  2. why isn't Batman higher up that's the one i wish i could use my 22 votes on LOL
  3. Seeing that we already have the Rose Bowl show and that the Glastonbury show will be released soon enough, it'd be nice to have official 360 performances of Batman and Zooropa.

I'd have to say you've done some good picking...I still like the 360 versions of SBS (Oliver's Army!) and Walk On. When I get around to registering, I may just have to give those two a vote.

Is there any confirmation on the Glatsonbury show being released? I am all out of money, and
have even considered running up my last credit card to get the Bootleg DVD of Glatsonbury.

No. No. I haven't anything but that footage from "From The Sky Down" makes me think we'll get something soon.

They releasse something every year and the Glastonbury show (or better yet, a 1992 ZooTV show) would be to expect in 2012. Thisis assuming that they don't release a new album.
  10. very pleasantly surprised that songs like Vertigo Elevation Boots (mainly the first) seem to be out for now
i'll believe it when i see it
  11. Go, Spanish Eyes, go, Your Blue Room! C'monnnn

Fair enough, we all love Pride, Streets, Angel of Harlem, I will follow, Mysterious Ways, etc., but surely we all have several different versions already and it would be nice to have songs that haven't already had performances included on the likes of Hasta La Vista, U2GoHome, RattleAndHum, U2 Communication, ZOOTV. This vote is for performances and not songs as such. My idea of a fanclub release is something that includes previously unreleased material or versions of rarely performed songs. I just thought this would be a decent opportunity for the fans to grab tracks like Electrical Storm, Your Blue Room, Out of Control, One Tree Hill, Unforgettable Fire, Zooropa, Ultra Violet, Love Rescue Me, Mothers & Stingray and more. I'm just hoping some of those guys make it.

The big criticism of Duals was that we all had all the tracks already except for SBS with Jay-Z. Voting for Pride in this case makes no sense to me. It is a warhorse that even the band dropped mid 360 tour. WOWY is one of U2's greatest achievements but do we really need another version of it on U22?

I suppose the difficulty with this vote is whether to want a document of the whole 360 tour that is a fair reflection of the setlists or to take advantage of the vote option and just vote for tracks that will be unlikely to see the light of day on any future release such as the ones I've mentioned.

Ultimately, the choice is with the fans/subscribers, I cast my vote and will bow to democracy and accept the will of the people. At least this shows U2 have listened.
