  1. That's just it. If the band felt their performances of particular songs were any good, they would have left them in the set for longer periods of time. Sure, it was great that they attempted "Electrical Storm" and "Your Blue Room" but they essentially tanked. They played YBR at the show I attended in 2009 and the audience went silent (not a good song for a stadium show).

    Just like EyesWithPride/Matt said above, the staples should probably be there.

    Totally agree. I loved that snippet in there and I agree with everything Matt said too.
  3. I asked this earlier and I don't think anyone knew. If I joined the fan club now, would I be allowed to vote and get the cd? I don't want to spend the fifty dollars now and get Duals.

    I know when i renewed when u2.com had announced details of the new cd i received the u2.communication for a 2nd time then they sent out the following year cd, which i think was unreleased & rare.sorry that doesn't help much but you could email them and ask.

    THat does help. I'll probably wait. I have til Dec. 2 to vote so I'm not in a hurry.

    Batman can go in place of UV- we were honestly MORE excited in June of '09 when we heard about that than we were when HMTMKMKM was making its debut.

    Electrical Storm was garbage, and they knew it, which is why they scrapped it so early.

    It'd be NICE to hear songs like Unknown Caller and Breathe, but they had lost so much confidence in Unknown Caller that it had started missing shows by the second leg. Breathe was also considered to be a dud by the time the Rose Bowl DVD came out, so there's not much sense in it officially opening the album when EBTTRT does as great of a job.

    Like dtpc said above- had the top 22 been a setlist of a show, people would have gotten down on their knees. So many great choices. At least the community apparently has the sense to put NLOTH on the top 22- a song that should have stuck around for the entire tour.

    I'm moreso hoping that a track from one of my shows gets chosen at this point. I'll be happy with any 22 songs they choose to release.


    why can't i have both Batman and UV yeah i agree but its funny that you're saying that you want SBS or BD on this release yet DON'T want Crazy Tonight because it's been on 3 releases. but yeah I want Electrical Storm, i actually liked it! NLOTH needs to live <3 Zooropa, Even Better and The Fly were amazing to hear live and i'll take that over UC and Breathe anyday

    matt how does it feel that Stay from your show (chicago 2011?) will be on this official release? im soo jealous because i wanted Stay at Anaheim 2 but i got stuck which i've already heard live

  9. Are there any selections from either Chicago 2009 or East Rutherford 2011? I had a friend at the ER show, that's why I ask (and I was at the other Chicago show).
