1. I'll probably buy the blu-ray when it comes out anyway to get the hi-def version of the movie, it would have just been nice to have kept the extras on the fan release...
  2. Hahaha, iTunes recognizes track 9 of the Uber Remix disc as "The Lounge (Fly Mix)"
  3. i think i'm just going to wait for the Blu Ray of it a bunch of friends wanted to see it but if its not the complete film then i'm not as interested. Blu Ray would be better quality too
  4. I broke down today, and bought the super deluxe version here in Manhattan. Was "on sale" for $119.I figured, fuck it,Ill buy it.The hard book is beautiful. The 16 art prints look great.

I watched the From the sky Down the other night,on Showtime. It was very good.I just wish there was more Berlin shots, and longer performances of the AB tunes.I felt they spent too much time leading up to the Berlin sessions.

How is it possible, that the dvd version is shorter than the broadcast version ? Has this been confirmed ? You would think the "free broadcast" version would be cut.

Im goin to listen to AB tonight, and see if it actually "sounds" better.
  5. Is blu-ray actually going to be HD? When it was broadcast on BBC One, it was upscaled on BBC One HD as opposed to a native HD broadcast.
  6. -Double post-
  7. Uber Box set arrived today
  8. Pretty sure Achtung sounds a little better to these ears, though it could be the placebo effect.
  9. Most notable on the intro of UTEOTW, actually. The drums and following guitar hook sounded much, much cleaner to me.
  10. Okay, I love Down All the Days....but what on earth is that ungodly high-pitched squealing that comes in during the last parts of the song? Happens every now and then...my ears can barely take it when I'm cranking it so loud.
  11. Can anyone confirm if the ZooTV Outside Broadcast special includes everything that our bootleg versions have? Judging by the cuts made to From The Sky Down, I wouldn't put it past them.
  12. I agree that the sound is better ! but I think that the only interest is in Volume 6. 'Baby' Until The End Of The World is better than original
