- General Structure -

Week One (Mon-Sun) - Members state their interest in selected show before the end of Sunday by downloading the show and stating that they are taking part.

Week Two (Mon-Sun) - Members listen and review the show before the end of Sunday. New show is selected by the next member, ready for next week.

- Selection Process (1 Week) -

The member in bold (See 'member list') has until the end of the reviewing week to post their selection. The show must be a complete bootleg. If multiple audio sources are available, it would be appreciated if you stated which source you would like to be reviewed. A reason why you have chosen a particular show is always welcome. Please do not select a show that has already been reviewed (see bottom of this post).

Note: If a bootleg contains files that have no tags when loaded into a media player, it would be a huge help if you could tag the files correctly and re-upload for future downloads.

- Download / Listen / Review Process (2 weeks) -

Members must state their participation for the currently selected bootleg within the first week, just so we hhave a good idea what the numbers are like. The first week is used to download the bootleg so that it is ready for review. If you do not state your participation in week one, we will assume that you are not going to review. This does not however exclude you from taking part, as long as your review is in by the end of week two, we're happy. The second week is there for you to listen to the bootleg and write a review.

- How To Review -

Performance
- Discuss the performance of the band. (Include rating out of 5)

Audience
- Discuss the audience of the show. (Include rating out of 5)

Sound
- Discuss the sound of the bootleg, (Include rating out of 5)

Overall
- Summary of what you thought about the show. Include some note-worthy highlights and lowlights, too. (Include rating out of 5)

Once posted, please copy your review from the thread into the review feature on the relevant show page. This helps to build the database and provide a good background to new downloaders.

- Points System -

After a positive response, I've decided to run the new points system on a trial basis. Members who regularly participate will be rewarded with points. These points will determine your position in the picking order. So regular participants will be higher up and therefore pick a show for review before less active members. One point will be rewarded for week one partcipation (download the show and letting us know) and one point will be rewarded for week two participation (posting a review). In the event of a tie, it will be the person who posted their initial interest first who gets to decide. All members will still pick an equal amount of shows. The list at the top will not be updated to reflect the current points.

This post will always aim to be up to date with the relevant information so we can keep track of the important details amongst all of the discussion. Any suggestions are welcome, either post here or send me a PM

I will send out personal messages to remind people on a regular basis. At the start of the week to announce the show and provide a link. Midway through week two to remind you that a review is welcome by the close of Sunday.

I recently posted in General Chat 15, but thought a new thread would be better. Just wondering what people's views are of starting up another 'round table' thread? As we know, the Bootleg Round Table was rather popular until the U2 360 tour kicked off, then understandably it was all about that. Now it's died down and we have no new album to discuss (as such) I was wondering if anyone fancied kicking off again? We've probably gained a few members who wish to participate between then and now, so it could be good.

Due to having a fair amount of free time (student) for the next few months, I'd be glad to take on/help out with the running.

For those new to the concept, I'll post the general idea. [Taken from Round Table 4.0 (subject to review)]

A list of members who are interested is drawn up. From this list, members take it in turn to choose a bootleg. All members then have 2 weeks to download, listen to and review the bootleg. Then, the next bootleg is chosen by the next member on the list and away we go.

Let me know who's interested, in Round Table 4.0 we had an initial list of 19 which fluctuated as weeks passed. I'd say 15+ members makes for a good enough process, so if we gain that kind of interest, we'll start.
