1. ahaha i kind of agreee, i dont imagine myself sitting through it again FOR A VERY LONG TIME. my favorite bits are always HEARING the songs, The Fly, MW, One. But I'm mainly disappointed that it takes them soo long to even get to Berlin... ugh this had so much potential.

and of course, where is UV, Until the End, and Zoo Station?

But then again, I really love documentaries. I love hearing people tell their life stories in a narrative accompanied by diagrams. Naturally, I thought the documentary was brilliant.

I loved it while watching it live on BBC, but all the footage that has -supposedly- been taken out brings me down a bit. Anyway, I'll wait until I get it so I can juzge it for myself.

There was a bit where Larry was tracking the drums for Zoo Station, and Brian Eno said something like "You should just stop that, its not going anywhere", but then in the next cut of him slamming out that beat, Lanois was looking through the glass with a wide smile giving him a big thumbs up and Larry was REALLY enjoying himself

I'm actually a bit concerned about that, too.

But again, I can't really confirm that either.
I really hope they don't take out footage for a DVD release. It'll actually be the first of anything to have less material in a DVD than a television broadcast.

Actually, can anybody who watched it on Showtime confirm that the supposedly removed scenes were aired? I watched it on the BBC's website, so I got the whole thing.
  5. Anyway, I've got an AVI rip of the broadcast so I always have that as a backup in case they removed an essential segment!
  6. Down all the Days is the best thing i've heard in ages. Stunning vocal. Amazing how the song is so similar to Numb yet so unique.

    What a band they were.
  7. "Blow your house down" sounds amazing.

The first verse is an amazing vocal (and it doesn't sound 2011 to my ears). That low volume power is brilliant. Oh Berlin sounds like a JT outtake to me.
  10. Hi guys,

I recieved my Uber Deluxe box today. It is pretty bloody good I have to admit, although I know why some are saying it's not worth the money. I just came into some money, and thought, because there's no tour upcoming I will spend my show money from this year on the box.

    Two questions:

    1) Where on/in the box can I find the "number" of this being a limited edition "numbered" box set.

    2) I got 5 badges, not 4 as it is advertised. Any one else get a freebie? The badges were 2 x Zoo Baby, 2 x "U2" and 1 x Star. Anybody get a car badge?

    Cheers

    Nick
  11. I can send you my address if you don't want that spare badge. Thanks in advance.
