1. Dunno. Shot up to 70 dollars faster than I could bid anyway. Let it go.
  2. 70 dollars? WTF. I saw it in a record store yesterday evening for 18€ (25$) in a pretty goot condition. I also saw other bargains like a Spanish pressing of Joshua for 9€ and an unofficial but extremely cool 3x3 bundle of nine 7" singles (from 11 O'Clock to EBTTRT) for 35€... Anyway, I was looking for a gift so I just couldn't spend my bucks on that!
  3. POP?! Jeez, Sergio....I have never even seen the following U2 on vinyl in the flesh:

    -Achtung Baby
    -Zooropa
    -Pop
    -Greatest Hits 80-90
-How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb
    -U218

Don't know if U218 was even pressed on vinyl (I'm sure it was somewhere), but yeah...none of the above have I ever seen in person. On eBay and Amazon, sure, but they're nowhere to be found here. Happened to come across ATYCLB at a record store, brand new, but it was an import so it was super expensive. Same with Best of 90-00- really cool looking vinyl, but hugely overpriced.
  4. Speaking of eBay (and the conversation above), I'm also keeping my eye on an original (Greek, I believe) pressing of Pearl Jam's "Ten". The one with the pink cover- not the remaster with the brown cover. It's very, very difficult to find here as well, seeing as how everyone stocks the remaster.

I own all the albums pre-Achtung Baby on vinyl and bought them in person. But, like you said, I haven't seen any vinyls post Achtung Baby in the flesh, not even ATYCLB.
  6. I own the original US pressing of Boy (Not the one with the actual Boy on the cover, that'd be either the UK pressing or the remaster), and have seen (but don't own) October, War, and perhaps the most popular U2 vinyl around here- UABRS. I own original pressings of TUF and Joshua Tree, and have seen R&H as well.

Have you not even seen NLOTH in the flesh? It's most places here too.

Oh well, I learnt to speak your language by reading Achtung Baby's lyrics from the English-translated-into-Spanish Achtung Baby vinyl booklet that my parents own. And my first memory ever is me asking for my mum to play the "Melon disc" (I meant Zooropa, obviously)... My parents own all the vinyls from Boy to Zooropa, then we switched to CD. So it's not that weird to me

Oh, and I saw a picture disc of ATYCLB yesterday too, priced at 25€ (~33$).
  8. That's a great story about learning English

Pop is probably my most-desired-"rare" U2 vinyl. I know AB will be way more popular now that it's been re-released.
  9. It's true. That's why I hold dear songs like Trying To Throw Your Arms or One, although they're not among my musical favorites. I started to listen/learn AB when I was 5, and I learnt most of what I knew thanks to that booklet, I never studied English at school since I already knew everything that was being taught and all thanks to four drunk Irishmen.

Hmm, when I bought Ten it was the original pressing.

    Hi all!
  11. Vinyl?
  12. Ah, no, the CD, sorry.

I love my original AB vinyl that I found a while ago. It started me on vinyls.
