1. Yeah I was gonna say I didn't think it was THAT popular, though I do believe the US has the worst vinyl selection in the world.
  2. Vinyls are great although there are 2 things I dislike about them:

1 - I really don't get why most post-1990 vinyls are more expensive than a kidney.
2 - I never know if it's written vinyl or vynil. And I don't seem to learn it xD

I'm going off for a while, 2 classes and I'm back! Bye

Here I just need to go to a record store and I'll find a few nice U2 vinyls every time.

I own original pressings of TUF and Joshua Tree, and have seen R&H as well.

Have you not even seen NLOTH in the flesh? It's most places here too.

Nah, it's difficult to find a decent record shop over here. I picked up most of my vinyls at a local market where I used to live and the prices were quite good but they only had pre-1991 stuff. It's there that I started building my CD collection too.

For new vinyls, some of the big HMV chain stores sell them, I got GOYB on release day at a HMV store.

I think I'll have a look on google for a local record shop.

    Vinyl
  5. I wrote the wrong thing.
  6. I believe post 1990 vinyls are harder to find because that's when they stopped mass-pressing them. Around that time, anyway. The CD had pretty much taken over, so if something was pressed on vinyl it was harder to get your hands on, therefore more expensive. Also packaging etc. has greatly improved since then- the quality of even just the cardboard stock that Viva la Vida or No Line on the Horizon comes in today is much, MUCH heavier/better quality than old 80s-and-before records.
  7. I'm exhausted, and guess what, two exams tomorrow... woooooohoooooo.
