shit up B*tch i try to listen to the concert. Go home sing under your shower ...this is what destroyed this boot for me ...what was i listen to aaah Angel of harlem can't remember it because of that girl thank you ..Dancing Queen started but didn't get a grip at all by the crowd Bono react by allright i believe yeh after a second start of this song and it ends before it even started. When love comes to town
Bad And now they also destroy Bad ... you can here some fight and people wrangle togheter that's what i called Bad you can even here somebody say '' Don't push me" !!! The performance of bad is great ...of what i heard bono's voice sounds amazing in this song ..full of power
streets is as great as always .....there is nothing to coment about .....oke Adam was wrong with one note but hey ...Pride sounds indeed overplayed and Bono sounds tired
just remember that they played this in Dortmund during my first U2 concert ever ...Encore time ....Bono as the mirrorbalman ....screams when he looks in the mirror : you look like shit man !!! It's a very powerfull version... it sounds like there is no point in Bono ....he don't wanna be Elvis but he wanted to be himself ...just like the crowd wanted him ....That's all folks screams he at the end ...fire works is going of ...bono is calling the lady who tells him the time ...Hey no Ultra violet ???!!! but right into With Or Without You Bono wish Frazer a Happy birthday ...for me it's a good performance with some little mistakes ...Bono sings at the end i can't live whitout you ..i think he means the crowd....Love is blindness .....such a beauty Edge is going of during the guitarsolo ... it's the end of the second night in Vancouver ...love this song
and at the end Can't Help Falling In Love. Love when bono does the low voice normaly but this time he is a little bit struggeling ...the high parts are good ....Elvis still in the building ...
that i don't know if i would listen to this show again ..that girl
and then the fight during Bad ...Originally posted by RemyHere we go:
Performance: (4 stars)
When you have so many U2 shows available it is sometimes difficult to pick a random one. When I started listening to this show I had to go on. To rate the performance of a band from an audio recording you should hear more than just the music. Which I absolutely do, I hear the spirit, the enthousiasm, very good performance. Some songs obviously better than others, but in general a great performance of the band. The encore is outstanding.
Special note to Larry for performing Wild Rover, always one for a good laugh. A show that definitely resembles the Outside Broadcast leg.
Audience: (3 stars)
It's difficult to rate the audience here, when I think of the audience I think of one song: Streets. You feel like you're almost there if you listen to it.
Sound: (4,5 stars)
The audio quality is amazing, it is a great mix of vocals, instruments and crowd. Especially for this era the quality is very good. One of the bootlegs I would definitely recommend to others as a ZooTV Outside Broadcast introduction.
Overall: (4 stars)
A solid 4 star rating for this bootleg and show. It gets better during the show, the show itself is good but the encore is outstanding. One of the downsides for me was Bad, which is not one of very best Bad performances. I'm still in the opinion that Bad doesn't belong on ZooTV, opposed to just a few great performances (Dublin RDS for instance).
Also a special mention for the snippets, I am a snippet lover and I was caried away by Stand By Me & Dancing Queen. Don't know if you should name them snippets in such a rendition but it really adds to the performance.
It's a sin however that you hear people discussing the security guy who is apparently 'looking like an CIA agent' during the snippets in Bad.
