1. if i have to follow my actual mood i'd say none of them .. but we'll see probably i'll attempt to attend Bologna (the most comfortable for me) or Florence ... Codroipo is a very nice venue but it's so uncomfortable to get to

Not too sure if you're familiar with some of their unreleased stuff but "Big Boots," "Follow Me Around," and "Lift" are three great tunes that many Radiohead fans (including yours truly) wish that the band would officially release on a studio album. The first two I mentioned appeared in the 1998 film Meeting People Is Easy. (Have you seen it? It's really good.) There's hope for these songs since tracks like "How To Disappear Completely," "Life In A Glass House," and "Nude" also appeared in the movie and were eventually released on a studio album.

I have not seen Meeting People Is Easy, so I guess I need to go find it. It was the movie they did after OKC, right?I have heard of those three songs you mention, and I know I have Follow Me Around on a bootleg. So they have never been on any sort of official release, though?
  3. MPIE is based upon Radiohead's trials and tribulations of recording and touring in 1997/1998. It's a bit of a downer, to be honest (some people lashed out at Radiohead for coming across as a bunch of whiners for this film) but I quite enjoyed it, nonetheless. In fact, I own it.

As for the songs, there is a guy (his name escapes me at the moment) who indpendently reoworked both Big Boots and Follow Me Around a few years back. The versions are okay but maybe a bit too "clean" by Radiohead's standards.

Will the fact that they plan to focus mainly on the last two albums influence your decision to attend?

I missed out on the In Rainbows tour so if they get around to coming to Toronto, I might try to get tickets.

I listened to the bootleg with Follow Me Around and really enjoyed it. I think the show I have it from is one of the 2003 London shows. Are there any good sounding bootlegs with Lift or Big Boots?
  6. There is a terrific-sounding version of Lift from the 1996 Pinkpop festival.

There's one (maybe two) decent performances of Big Boots out there but I never got aroound to downloading them.

the fact they plan to focus to all the last album and songs related (i save just The Daily Mail)
i love In Rainbows .. i was at a couple of "nice" shows here in Milan in 2008
  8. In Rainbows is great - sometimes I rank it as high as my #2 Radiohead album. What makes them so interesting is that (almost) each album seems to fit a certain...mood...time of day...The fact that one day I like The Bends better than Kid A and then it switches the next day tells me that there is something...substantial/sustaining... about their music.

Great band when they don't overdo the beeps and blips.
  9. right completely agree .. and they're doing a little too much lately

As usual, you are 100% correct. My friend Chris (from UK),many years ago gave me an insane copy of this gig,Pinkpop 96.I love when Thom says.."Hello..we are called Radiohead and we are pleased to meet you on this cold, wet, shitty day."..LOL...Classic.....

    Lift is an amazing song......
