1. Perhaps you could have a friend introduce you?

  2. Word of mouth can happen, but it's hard when your friends are working at places that currently don't need anyone.

There's place that I'm currently keeping my eye on, called Marks & Spencer's (a popular shop here in the UK), and on their website, you can apply for certain shifts, but they are not to my liking because I have to fit it around school.

Oh, and thanks for the "good luck", Fabian!
  3. I have to do my homework now

Good luck finding a job, and bye guys. Stay safe.

  4. Enjoy

Cheers man. Have a good night!
  5. Good night Fabian!
  6. @Kieran - yes, they can be a bitch sometimes, not replying and all. But all you have to do is printing more curriculums and walking faster. They end up picking you up. You just need a good printer and good legs. And patience

@Olof - oh, well, that's not so bad then. I understand it's some kind of school requirement, and I appreciate that. Here in Spain we never got the chance to do that at school, and I think it's very very useful. A lot of young folks who leave school would never do it if they knew the work world before - and viceversa.
PD. Working in a music shop is a Epic Win in my book.
  7. It sure was. I got loads of things for free too I think I've maybe discounts and stuff there for like at least €100 Of course it was loads of fun as well, and cool to see the inner workings of a store like that.
  8. And it's not bad at all. It's a highlight. You just need a nice place. I've been a greenkeeper at my golf club, I've been at my old kindergarden, and now I'll be at my favorite restaurant in town
  9. That's a great bunch or jobs so far. Earning money with your own sweat and work is one of the most rewarding feelings I know.

Never really had that feeling. Sure is great when you do something and make a bit of money though.
  11. Anyone?
  12. Dammit, just saw a string has snapped on my acoustic guitar
