I'm going to download the lossy version tonight, so I'll be reviewing this one
Performance: 4 stars
An average ZooTV performance, I expected a bit more from them.
Bono sounds good throughout the show, but it's always like if there is something missing. Compared to other ZooTV shows, he seems a bit tired sometimes, especially at the end of the show (With or Without You, Pride). He still tries to give it all (the screaming part at the beginning of NYD, the Hallelujah part in Running to Stand Still, even if not is best, is full of passion).
Edge gives an average performance. No errors, no highlights either. His singing on Stand By Me is nice, however his backing vocals aren't that great (maybe it's because of the sound quality, however).
I feel Larry made a really good job that night, his singing on Wild Rover is always a nice moment to listen to, because it's rare.
And Adam sings too, which is a very great surprise I didn't expected at all. His bass job isn't that listenable thourghout the bootleg however (for instance, it sounds like the NYD intro almost didn't have bass).
Audience: 2.5 stars
I don't know if I should have talked about that on the sound quality part, however, I think this is the weak point of the bootleg. You don't listened to them that much singing along, however you can hear them talking, screaming (in a terrible way), even fighting. The beginning of Bad is terrible on that point for instance.
Sound: 3.5 stars
I think it is a good audience bootleg from 1992, even if today, compared to 360° audience recordings, it can sound very poor. As I said, the audience is annoying, the bass isn't that listenable. Bono's voice and guitar (when used) are prominent. The whole band sounds far away. Despite all those negative points, the bootleg is far from being unlistenable, and it certainly is a great audience recording for the ZooTV period.
Overall: 3.5 stars
There are some highlights and a few lowlights, so I enjoyed this show less than the best ZooTV gigs, but more than many bootlegs I've listened to so far.
Highlights :
- The Mysterious Ways extended solo
- The surprise with the She's a Mystery to Me snippet instead of Unchained Melody
- Larry and Adam singing
- New Year's Day doesn't sound perfect but it sounds different, and I liked it, after having listened to 1084984 different performances of it.
- Where the Streets Have No Name is very powerful
- Stand By Me
Lowlights :
- I feel like I didn't enjoy the first 4 songs as much than I should have.
- The audience who is annoying sometimes during the show
- Bono's voice isn't that great, which must be underlined since this is a ZooTV show...
- I miss Ultraviolet.

I was planning to listen to the lossless version, but since I'll be traveling, I need the lossy for my iPod.
