1. Someone familiar with Ultimate Ears 600VI Earphones?

  2. Buy Xbox 360, I own it and I'm perfectly satisfied with it. And it's much cheaper than PS3.

No good apps? Considering a WP7 phone myself.

  4. I haven't explored fully but nothing standout yet. I'm gonna have the N8 hidden for a week so that I have no choice but to give it a good go. It does feel like i'm only going to get 7/10 max from the device without making use of the People Hub. The Social network integration is amazing but I have no use for it.
  5. Okay, I have high hopes for the apps. If not now, then in the future. MS makes the best developer tools imho.

  6. Kind of agree, I tried WP7 on my HD2 and wasn't overly impressed. There is a lot of focus of social networking. I think in terms of apps, it's still playing catch up but from what I hear a lot of the popular apps are finding their way over to the WP7 marketplace.
  7. First proper day with the Mozart today. Have left the N8 at home. Anxious.

It has gone well. Battery not immense but will probably improve with a few more charge cycles. Browser is good but I would love Opera Mini to keep a cap on data usage. It still seems a little limited and i'm not enjoying the PC reliance. It all hinges now whether I can be bothered redoing all of my music and podcasts etc. It feels one update away from being properly good. I'll keep with it for a while though. Have to hit the marketplace hard tonight.
  9. before I forget again, thanks to those who helped me along with their thoughts about the choice between Playstation/wii and xbox. In the end my brother has borrowed me his "old" xbox, the one that came out before xbox 360. He gave me tons of different games to try, ego shooter, car racing, winter games, space war or whatever, all sorts. I found out quite quickly that I'm not going to buy this stuff. Not my cup of tea, but it was nice to try. Again, thanks for your input here, appreciated as always

Looks a decent enough phone, I would've stuck with WP7 for a bit longer if I could have activated it. I was running an unofficial version on my HD2 so without activation I was limited to just the basics (no market, no live integration) - whilst I was impressed and it was a massive change from W6.5 it just couldn't pull me away from Android 2.2 (Desire build).

I think over time it will continually get better as will Android. iOS seems to have been stuck in the same mould for years now, with just the odd new feature added with each release.
  11. My problem is that I like premium (or at least very good) hardware so that means paying more. But that then means all the cheaper devices have pretty much the same functionality as you do but for 50% of the cost. Plus I though the apps were mostly of poor quality, and the OS was resource intensive.
