  1. Hey guys,

    I didn't find one of these threads through my searches on the forums and thought it appropriate to open one for such a large, (but one that is unfortunately plagued by mediocrity) wonderful community!

    The necessity of this thread came to me as I was reviewing concert footage I shot of a U2 concert that I attended, where I saw a young girl being touched in my film, in highly inappropriate places by a man who was far too old to be her father. And it's definitely not her boyfriend (she appears to be 8 or so). I have recently lost many hours of sleep over my lack of vigilance in picking this up at the gig, and I am immensely bothered by what may have happened to this child that night.

    I am really not sure what I should do, whether I should send a copy of the footage to authorities or just let it slide..

    Any suggestions as to what I should do?

    And by the way, feel free to add your own moral and ethical dilemmas to this foray.
  3. How horrible.

    If you can, try to reach those authorities. That's probably the best you can do, but hey, at least you'll be doing something about it.
  4. I dont really see how this is a dilema... It's not like there is an option over what you do...

    Its not like porn where you can argue that it is or isnt a bad thing - that it doesnt hurt so society so it is the choice of the individual.

    This is wrong and should be reported.

  7. I would think of the 8 year old; it is in the interest of her and other kids that he be reported.
  8. Its easy for me to say, but I say go to the authorities. Then its up to them what to do with it.
  9. If it bothers you, report it. Then it's no longer your problem and you know you've done all you can to help.

  12. follow your morality, and i'm sure it says report it! it's absolutely not acceptable by any civil guy and if it's not enough .. by any of U2 understanding fan! (maybe it has greater appeal)
    if you don't know how to do it (you're in Australia i'm in Italy) i will look how to do it!
