1. There's always spare tix and people who can't attend and they sell at face value.
  2. I've been to Pinkpop 2009 where Bruce peformed but standing isnt really that special imo I didnt see much of it and was to crowed for me.
I've you have the luck and/or patience to stand at front of the stage its great but in a big field or stadium it isnt that cool to stand at 30/50 meters from the stage.

  3. Well, the people who can't go don't always sell them at face value.

  4. Not everyone, of course, but there's always the odd guy who bought 4 tickets thinking 3 friends would attend with him but one of them says "no", that guy ain't gonna scalp with the ticket, he just wants to get rid of it.

For example, we're probably gonna have a spare ticket, but I'm sure we have some relative or friend who'd like to go

I should agree with this, as I've always thought "Wow, how do the people at the back of the GA enjoy it?"... but I actually can't say if I agree or not - I'm always on the first rows!
  10. Especially at festivals its a waste of time imo to stay on one place just because you want to be on the front. There are a lot of other artists to see so it thinks its a waste of time and money to wait the whole day just to be at the front. For a stadium concert its different because there is just one stage.
