Very true...Kid A sounds fantastic..live..in the studio..I dont know..they..as you say..there is too much bleeps and blips...sounds very sterile IMO...live,like PJ,Radiohead sound much better....KOL ?.....a mess IMO...

By the way,did you ever hear Radioheads crazy live version of Nobody Does It Better...??...They played this alot live in 1996....its great...

Yeah, I need to see King of Limbs live for it to have any chance of me ever say I "like it."

"Nobody Does It Better"...according to Thom Yorke (at least back in 1996), the "sexiest song ever written." Great version.

A few weeks ago, I posted links to these two compilations I made using high-quality bootlegs. I don't know if you were interested in them (or even saw them as you may have been at Disney at the time) but here they are again:

I have the Warrington show from Oct 2,2000 that I was at.That show is insane,and IMO,their best live gig.

I also have the 2 shows from Earls Court that I attended back in 2003.I was a Radiohead nut for a few years there..LOL...

2 great sites..Giglinkdump and Not For Profit have loads of stuff from them.

I've listened to that Warrington show quite a number of times. I love the Kid Amesiac setlists. Nice mix of old and then-new.

You were AT both 2003 Earls Court show!?!??! You really are a concert-attending legend.

LOL.....I met my friend Chris,who lives in London,and works for the BBC,in 1996.He and his then gf (now his wife),sat next to me and my wife at an Oasis gig,here in NYC.

We have been good friends since.Its his connections in London.Its not me..LOL....All I have to do is buy the plane tickets..LOL..

We saw Radiohead here in NYC both nights,Oct 9 and 10, 2003.Then I flew over the next month,and we did Earls Court.

He says the MSG shows were better.I say the Earls Court shows were better.Either way,I loved London and cant wait to see Noel there in Feb at the O2.

London and NYC are two of the greatest cities on this planet. I've been to London once (millenium 2000) and NYC twice (summer 2001 and summer 2002)

You have to see PJ here in NYC at MSG,or any band really.U2 at MSG were always brilliant shows.When they played MSG,for the Hall Of Fame gig,there was no Claw.No distractions.It was just the music.Then Bruce came out,then Mick.Was fantastic.

Radiohead ripped MSG apart in Oct 2003.Thom actually smiled a few times...

I'll take extended breaks from them from time to time (including lately) but I'll always come back to these guys. One day I'll even forgive them for King of Limbs.

I might get stuff thrown at me for saying this, but I've actually started to enjoy King of Limbs. Yes, I know it's not nearly as good as the previous six albums, but I'd rather listen to Radiohead's "bad" stuff than about anything else. I think the second half of the album is great while the first half has its moments. Now that I've given my two cents, feel free to continue bashing it. I completely understand why it's not liked.
