PM me! hahaha Nah, seriously, it's an original Sinatra recording with just-Bono vocals overdubbed, so I don't think it should be regarded as U2&Sinatra but as Bono&Sinatra (even Sinatra ft. Bono, that would be my choice).

  2. I've started listening to these guys again recently. Actually, I've mainly been listening to 90s alternative rock/grunge alot.

I think you're wrong about how it was recorded. I'm pretty sure they did it together. And at least it's Sinatra's old voice, he's nowhere near as good as when he was young.

Dirt is a GREAT album. The follow up EP, Jar of Flies, is a very nice complement to it.

Paid $30 (tax included) yesterday for the Siamese Dream reissue. A pretty good deal considering that you get a nifty box containing the original album remastered, a second disc that is full of b-sides and alternative takes, and (the reason I bought it) a classic show on DVD that has an absolutely astounding setlist. This was what I was hoping for from the "deluxe" edition reissue of AB - kind of like The Joshua Tree one four years ago.

Dirt is indeed a fantastic album.

Yeah, I read about it on Twitter the other day. The content sounds amazing, but I already own the Siamese Dream album, so I think I'll pass on the deluxe edition. Besides, I'm not that huge a Smashing Pumpkins fan.
  11. As I mentioned, I broke down and bought it for the concert DVD...if interested, I could rip the audio and post..oh, wait, this isn't a "private message" is it? I'm getting confused about where I am!
