  1. Scotland is taking a serious battering. "The Ski area at Aonach Mor, just outside Fort William in the Highlands has reported a wind gust of 130 mph".

  3. 90mph hitting Edinburgh today. We got sent home from school at 12 because apparently at 3pm, there's going to be a massive gust of wind which could potentially cause several structural damage.
  4. We're getting around 50-60mph here, absolutely throwing it down as well. Doesn't look to be clearing anytime soon either. It's that dark the street lights have come on

    We just had our almighty gust, knocked a few bins over and set off a few car alarms. Probably nothing compared to what is expected to hit you guys later.

    Yeah it's wild here!!. Apparently schools are closed and somebus services are off because of the high winds and snow!.


  10. We get heat from them as well, but the Russian heat is the best one. It was responsible for those three weeks we had this summer without any rain, and temperatures of 25-30°C.
