1. Here's what some parts of Sweden is going to get, this is snow:

  2. Just seen some footage from Scotland on the news, mental. A bus flipped over, walls collapsed, bridges closed. Even some trucks turned over in the North East of England and flooding in the North West. The reported said that in the North East of Scotland it's expected to get worse over the next few hours. 50,000 Scottish homes left withour power and as Kieran said, snow blizzards are on their way.

Why do you always try to make clear that your weather is the worst of the universe?

  4. If a country was to sink and all it's inhabitants were drowned it wouldn't as bad as what Sweden put up with

Well, that this storm is nothing compared to the last one is from the weather experts This time it's only a Class II warning, not a rare Class III one like last time.

And I'm talking about the storm in my country, when it will have lessened in power. I'm sure it's horrible in the UK.

It is indeed mental. The bus that collapsed happened in Irvine, and was a school bus on its way to pick up children. Forth Road Bridge (the bridge nearest to me) is closed. Our local bus service was temporarily postponed, the train service is buggered, the traffic is apparently terrible all around the place... it's horrible. I must admit, it isn't as bad here as we all expected. Only ended up to be about 75mph, when it should have been 90mph. But North & Central Scotland are getting it real bad, and are suffering horrifically from it.

It's currently torrential rain here, and the wind is fairly bad - it has its regular terrible gusts. I think snow for Edinburgh looks unlikely, but for north Scotland, it looks like it will.
  9. High wind (but not as much as Scotland) and pissing rain in Cumbria at present. Delightful.

  10. I heard there was some localized flooding in parts of Cumbria. Terrible weather.
  11. we recently had an incredible wind storm with winds reaching 100 miles per hour and causing 10 million dollars worth of damages it was dreadful i was without power and electricity for 6 days! My city (Temple City) was hit the hardest, these Santa Ana winds where the strongest in 15-20 years and devastated almost EVERY TREE and poll. schools were destroyed and trees collapsed ontop of buildings and roads causing horrific traffic. it's getting A LOT better now but here's a quick news report about it that was made basically outside my apartment complex

it's getting better now but omg i thought i was going to die that night the winds blew! my balcony collapsed and the whole night the apartment was vigorously shaking so it felt like it was going to collapse any minute. i was praying to the Lord until i fell asleep under this massive noise of wind and shaking of the walls. my college (pasadena city college) had most of its trees collapsed and school had to be cancelled for 2 days. i could go on but yeah, that was my week
  12. Britain set for more storms...
