  2. So I finally got the cash to order the cheapest 20th anniversary set (the 2 CD one). It came in the mail a couple days ago and I have to say that I really enjoy ALL of the tracks on that second CD. It cost me roughly $20, but I bought it with Coldplay's Mylo Xyloto to get me free shipping on Amazon. I have to say I am a satisfied customer.

Also, Blow Your House Down is officially my favorite song of the month.

As I didn't wanted to open a new subject and not sure if this was discussed before (couldn't find it) thought this was the best place. Just back from another trip to Berlin, and if you ever go there, try to get the Hansa Studio tour. It's amazing, shivers down the spine if you stand in the big hall and hear "One" out of the speakers. You get a tour through the whole studio, well worth the money and takes minimum of 2 hours.

    That sounds incredible.

I still love Oh Berlin and Blow Your House Down. Near The Island is getting a good few plays too.
  4. Uber Box owners can now enjoy the directors cut of FROM THE SKY DOWN streaming on the Achtung Baby micro site, using the unique code supplied.

  8. Gotta LOVE the lyric changes in So Cruel... "In love and war there are no rules / That said, your're so cruel"

The one set for Blu-Ray is the director's cut which should be different.

Just ripped that So Cruel, such a great performance.
  10. I don't think the verson of the movie itself is any different. On Amazon, it says "Director's Cut" and 89 min (bonus material excluded) for both, BluRay and DVD. The version is the "Director's Cut" on both releases, which basically means the original version that the BBC aired and that was shown on TV before the band decided to make cuts. The version released with the AB box set is a shorter version of the movie, it has several scenes cut out.

One of the differences, though, will be the missing of the whole Toronto press conference on the DVD. It will only have highlights from this events, while the BluRay will have the whole thing. That, imo, sucks, because I have to buy the DVD, but I've got a video of the press conference anyway. Still hope, someone will be able to rip it in order to have it in good quality.

  11. they should've gone with the full band version of So Cruel.
