1. anyone see one of the worst ref displays ever last night in the Stoke v Tottenham game, absolute bullshit, just puts more weight behind the need for video referals.

Man City have got Chelsea tonight. So heading into next weekend there might only be 2 points separating the two sides. Only consolation United have for being knocked out of the Champions League is that Man City also got knocked out.

Sir Alex is still intent on playing Phil Jones in midfield though. Played well against Wolves to be fair to him but his attacking isn't exactly great. Him and Carrick are similar midfielders (except it's natural for Carrick) both suited to a more holding role.

Similar to Roy Keane in the 90's but we no longer have a Scholes to attack and support the strikers. Ferguson ideally needs to buy a central midfielder who operates behind the strikers when attacking but can drop back to support when defending. Phil Jones needs to form a partnership with Ferdinand. Jones and Smalling were tipped to be England's future defensive partnership but it starting to seem unlikely.
  5. Netherlands can play with Huntelaar or Van Persie, imo Van Persie is better player but Huntelaar is one of the best goal scorers of the world and during WC 2010 Van Persie really sucked.

I watched Match of the day yesterday and like Andrew said, Spurs really got fucked by the ref.... Im afraid that City will win the Premier League title this season, I hope United will but I'm afraid that City will dominate the coming seasons. They can buy almost everyplayer on earth

  6. Let s see how is today match !! it seems to be a good match !

Sir Alex know what he do Give him time , if he say that Rooney will play as goalkeeper i will do what he said

    Roy Keane
What a great team that with Scholes , Roy, Beckham , Irwin , Solskjear (i dont know how can write it) , Giggs , Sheringham, Schmeichel, Jonshen , Andy Cole, Yorke !!
  7. And there we have it folks. Chelsea 2-1 Man City.
  8. city will panic now and spend another 100mill next month, i wonder if Spurs were to get infront of them on the ladder if they could take Adebayor back.

If December sees them in the same position, City will splash the cash. Problem with that is there's a 25? man limit on Premier League squads now so if they want to play their big money signings, they'll have to un-register an equal amount of players.
  10. Who will they buy then? They played with these players yesterday:
Hart, Zabaleta, Clichy, Kompany, Lescott, Barry, Yaya Toure, Milner, Silva, Balotelli and Aguero
Only in the defence they could use a replacer for Zabaleta and Clichy and maybe another middfielder because I think Barry isnt that good. But they got a good GK, Kompany is one of the best defenders in the world, Lescott is pretty good too, same goes for Toure, Milner is a good player and most important a English player, Silva and Aguero are great players and Balotelli is a good player too. Then they got Dzeko, Nasri, De Jong, Jonhson and Kolarov as players on the bench.

I really dont know who they should buy The absolute top players like Messi, Rooney, Zlatan, Robben, Van Persie, Ronaldo wont go to City I think.

Messi will go nowhere, Rooney will go nowhere in England, Zlatan could go but has always failed against English sides so would be difficult for him, Robben won't come back to England I don't think, Van Persie won't go anywhere and Ronaldo has already ruled City out.

They'll buy anyone to replace anyone. It's not about forming a good side, a team of togetherness - it's about buying the best players.
  12. I know, but who? Are there any rumours about players they might want to buy this winter?
