I've not listened to Pearl Jam or Backspacer, so those two are ejected from the list.

To be honest, I really don't mind Binaural. I've gotten use to it. Some really good songs on it.

Binaural is good. The songs sound much better live IMO.

  2. I thought that too. Especially 'Rival', which sounds really weak studio, but quite good live.

I will come clean and admit that I saw Coldplay (with my now-wife) at Darien Lake back in 2005. It was okay but we were literally sitting against the back barrier in the general admission section. I like(d) their first two albums but never listen to them anymore (aside from Amsterdam - great tune, not overplayed) as I think I've heard them enough. My wife still likes them.

Now ENOUGH talk about Coldplay. They have their own thread - that we're trying to overtake!

I ranked Binaural last but I still enjoy the album. It's a pretty dark album that I have to be in the mood for. It has some of their best b sides. Ten would get the honor of having another masterpiece worth of b sides lol.
  6. You all realize that in today's barrage of PJ posts, we passed the 1000-post barrier for this thread.

Yeah, tonnes of songs were cut from Binarual. Was almost a (dreaded) double-album.
  8. The amount of great stuff that was left of Ten is unbelievable.

  9. I guess that's why all three of Breath, State of Love and Trust, and Yellow Ledbetter were included on their 2004 greatest hits compilation.
  10. There was also Wash, Brother and Footsteps.
  11. Ok.so I always heard, that there was some sort of controversy about a live release, that wasnt. Many years back, Best Buy were going to give away a live release called Give Way.I remember hearing about this. The problem, they didnt get the ok from PJ.

Go to qualitybootlegs.blogspot.com.That is also the password,if you choose to download this gem.Check out the story there.Sound is very, very good.17 songs from the Melbourne gig 03.05.98.That show sounds great, this is a bit of an upgrade IMO.You can find the whole gig, all over the net,and at pearljambootlegs.org of course.
