1. Not that I'm aware of. They'll only consider buying if the rest of December doesn't go to plan.
  2. I hope the UEFA or the Fifa will do something against clubs like that. But im afraid that will never happen

  3. Money is fast ruining football.

Can you see the owners staying for another 18 years to win 18 conscutive titles to overtake Man Utd? Or another 7 years to win 8 consecutive FA Cup's to overtake United? Perhaps another 10 years to win 10 conesecutive European Cups to overtake Madrid?

No, it's just short term success and once the owner does eventually pack up, he'll sell at a massive loss and they'll drop like a lead balloon once they can no longer cover wages etc. Their fans don't turn up to games as it.
  4. I wonder if City will buy all the good Premier League players no, to make sure they're the only ones with good player.
  5. City is far to be the best team , they have good players and they are doing good things , maybe in a couple of years they are the new "Chelsea"

is a complicated issue , because i love to see Barca- Real Madrid !!
They play the best football of the world , but if they can t buy the best players maybe the dont do it so , i dont know , perhaps the problem is the distance between the rich clubs and the poor ones ( big problem of the world)
  7. They should put a cap on resources. Max 100 mln per year, salaries included. Football is nice but its nonsense to pay millions salary. They have no importance what so ever in this world.

Yes, i m with you , but this business move millions of dollars , so why a football player can t take that money instead of businessman or managers ?

  9. Business men shouldnt get more than they deserve as well.

Kicking a ball, which can be fun to watch, doesnt deserve much at all imho. They are just worshipped as gods, I dont see the reason why they should earn > 10x more than a prime-minister / president / etc.

Same goes for rock stars btw

Because people pay to see them? When Manchester United play at home, they earn in excess of £2m (Over £3m for a Champions League game) from ticket sales alone. The megastore is always packed, they sell a great amount of matchday programmes and people flood inside at half time to buy food. Slap seasonal merchandise on top of that, advertising etc and you can see why their total revenue was £428m last year. Still, that's short of the £537m revenue that Real Madrid saw.

I'm sure if you worked for a company that made £428m in a year and offered you £20k+ a week to work for them, you wouldn't turn it down.

Manchester City on the other hand had revenue of £153m last year and have spent well in excess of that.
