  3. Hello and Merry Christmas to all here!

    I'm still working on a Matrix from Zurich 2010-09-11 with the The Edge-Iem-source and the audience source from GVA-Taper. But I'm not satisfied with the result yet.

    What have I done?

    I've first Eq'ed both sources with Har-Bal and then mixed the sources, 30% Edge-Iem, 70% GVA-Taper audience (to don't kill Bonos Voice too much). After that I finally removed some crowded noise. Sounds not too bad, but I'm grateful for every hints to improve the mix! Thanks!

    Note: There are lot of distortions in the Iem-source, I think oversized volume during taping. I don't know.

  4. A question... would Logic Pro 9 be a good software for trying some remastering and maybe some matrixing to?
  5. Seriously U2Freak999 instead of working with already available sources get your ass off and try to find other uncirculated better sources when you do a 'matrix' ... there are LOTS of such sources out there, you just have to find something to trade them for.

    You are funny. I have nothing to trade (never taped anything), so I have to use the sources which are in public....

    Listened to this.

    Need to clean-up the static bursts with some sort of spectral repair. Vocals are probably as good as they're gonna get with a bono feed. Kickdum sounds a little too much...maybe take the 60hz down a little bit.

    I might recommend against over-eq'ing...don't do harbal for each source. Do that with your final source. Harbal is not magic, and doesn't always present the best approach for every source. For example--you'd be a fool to use harbal on an Adam feed.
