1. I suppose I did this to myself - and that's why it really hurts...

    (oh, wrong band)

  2. I thought Bono didn't inhale.

You see Eddie smoking a cigarette right before a (relatively recent) show in PJ20
  3. Listening to Live on 2 Legs, for the first time in a while..... a good release,a tease actually..this could have been amazing..it should have been 2 cd's..I remember buying this and being like WTF...still solid..but after the band started releasing all their gigs in 2000,this one kinda fell off my radar...
  4. When you put Two and Ten Legs together you end up with a pretty solid mix, although still missing some essentail tunes (Once, Releasse, Indifference, Dissident, Not For You, Immortality, Last Exit, I Got Shit, In My Tree, Wishlist, Save You, ...)
Ah, they should do a third one.
  5. Well, after listening to 2 Legs...this made me break out a couple of my 1998 boots from my vault. The Seattle show,N2 07.22.98, sounds amazing.I think it sounds better than the Melbourne gig,03.05.98.Its more crisp,EV's voice is so clear. There really isnt much crowd noise, but this is really a great gig..check out this set.....

    1.Last Exit
    2.Animal
    3.Spin The Back Circle
4.Brain Of J....EV'S voice sounds so.... sinister...love this version...
    5.Faithfull
    6.Red Mosquito....amazing version
    7.Given To Fly.....classic
    8.MFC
    9.Habit
    10.Not For You
    11.Daughter
    12.Even Flow
    13.Off He Goes
    14.Better Man
    15.Lukin
    16.Present Tense
    17.Mankind
    18.Alive
    19.Corduroy
    20.Hail,Hail
    21.Do The Evolution
    22.Porch

    Encore 1

    23.Wishlist
    24.Leatherman
    25.Leaving Here
    26.Fuckin' Up

    Encore 2

    27.Yellow Ledbetter

Not a bad set at all.Encore seems a bit short, compared to the marathons they do now.Obviously this gig is missing Black,Jeremy,SOLAT,RVM,I Got Shit,Footsteps and Dissident. They were all played N1......This boot is a pure SOUNDBOARD......get this forthwith...We Got Shit has this version...
  6. Chinese

unreleased demo from 91 passed on PJ Radio yesterday

It would be great to have great copies of both those two Seattle shows, wouldn't it?

I have both the Melbourne and Seattle gigs - which I have listened to in the past. Both very solid. No Jeremy in either. I don;t think they played Dissident much on that tour.

I was at another PJ site,,,Rearviewmirror or something and it had a few fan polls (leader in brackets)

    Favourite album (Ten)
    Favourite tour (2000)
    Favourite 1990's show (Atlanta 1994)
Favourite 2000's show (one of the Philly 2009 shows)
  8. As far as boots,2000 is also my fav.I guess because its the oldest tour with every show avaiable.I also love the Atlanta gig,and the Boston shows from 94.

But 2000,I still listen to those boots all the time. You can make so many different mixes.Europe,Leg 2 mix,Leg 3 mix..or combine the whole tour.My favorite 2 mixes are from Europe, cause I was at the Milan and Wembley gigs. And also the 3 Jones Beach NY shows that I attended.NY was the only stop on the tour where the band played 3 nights.
  9. Watching "Immagine in Cornice" right now - will likely watch it in parts.

Interesting (in a good way) show...love the "Immortality" sound check.
  10. great!
Eddie all alone in the Arena, empty, is very very suggestive.
how I wanted to sneak in secret
have you seen we got just a couple of drops of rain? hehe

  11. Well, it takes a lot of balls to do a record of all ukulele songs. Hey, the Uke’s got balls!
