1. It looks huge. I'll have to get it eventually...I think GB is showing its limits already for me. As long as I can still do my own drum fills.
  2. In Logic you'd be able to create your own sounds in an entirely different way. Plus all those loops.

But I guess it may be a huge download for you. Very much worth it though.
  3. New ways are always good ways - sometimes anyway. Only have I worked out how to do a rapid fill followed by a slow fill - just keep looping the kick drum.

How big is the standard download?
  4. Well. First you download something like 500MB... then when you first start the program it wants you to download an "essential" 2GBs of instruments and stuff. After that you can download an extra 19GB that are mainly loops I think.
  5. Holy fucking jesus. I'm not so sure I could do that. However - if the loops were top-quality, and I mean stuff like orchestras, gongs etc, whatever you use in classical recordings, I would pay twice as much for a boxed version.

Anyway I'm sure I can find more GB loops and stuff, or just keep making my own, now I have the keyboard.
  6. There's so much cool stuff you can do in Logic though. All kinds of insane stuff.

I'll do a check on what the different downloads contain so that you can know.
  7. Alright cool, I'd like to get it but don't think 19GB is exactly something I wanna be downloading.
  8. I don't think those 19 GB are that important though. You could download them over time.
  9. I can easily do 2GB but yeah surely they'd just be stuff like strings etc in the 19GB extra.

I'm keeping an eye on it, to see when the price drops for the download version - you never know, might hit $100 or so.
  10. When I've finished eating I'll screenshot that "Additional Downloads" window for you.
  11. Thanks. I'd love to try LP just to see what it does for me, and if I can create that amazing orchestral epic that I've wanted to for so long.
  12. Come over to Sweden and maybe I'll let you try it
