    So when somebody has millions he or her can do what they want? He really looks like a complete idiot.
    I think one of the big reasons why U2 isnt relevant anymore (or at least in Bonos view) is the way he is acting, people are done with him acting like is some kind of messiah.

    The biggest reason U2 isn't relevant anymore is the way he is not called Nicky Minaj or David Guetta.

  5. Coldplay is still relevant ( Oh, god how I hope U2 wont go into the same horrible direction as Coldplay, thats what im most afraid off) so it doesnt really have something to do with music style.
    And perhaps the world would be better when everybody acted like Bono, but there are a lot of people, including me, who are getting tired off people talking about charity.

    I don't mind the African flags. I love the African singing. His speech before One is epic if you don't listen to it too often.
  11. Since The Fly in all its variations and tour versions' reincarnations is one of my favourite U2 tracks, my comment regarding this solo version is quite simply... WTF?


    I mean, The Fly, acoustic?! If there is a u2 song out there, that is not "designed" to be played acoustic + by a guy who, let's be honest, isn't much of a guitar player, than this is the Fly... THE worst version ever, by far...


    On the other hand, I just bought the uberdeluxe at a great price at my local record store (220 EUR with some special discount, the original price was 249 EUR) so now I'm a one happy owner of the number 0159... Still not sure where to put it though, it's so zootv-ieshly (is that a word?) big and heavy... and just great!
  12. 1) I could probably name a thousand people who have looked like a bigger knob.
    2) I could probably name a thousand people who would've done worse regarding the performance.

    Regarding the first point actually, he acted like an even bigger knob when he was The Fly during the Zoo TV tour. Maybe he was trying to bring that back a little in the video by acting all hard and sliding a chair across the room? Who cares? Is there any need to be saying "Oh Bono, please don't slide a chair across the room then proceed to bend over in the corner whilst playing guitar, the public will think you're a fool."? Still, would've been totally epic if he stood there like a lamp post.
