    Jimi's version is just epic.

    Jimi > U2 > Dylan

That's because the original post has been heavily edited since the beggining, but this topic was basically a platform for doing a survey of U2start-users all-time favorite songs.

Pick your top 10, 20, 50 or 100 songs. No more than 10% of your list can be from any one band/artist.

100 !!!! I better go, ha just kidding
  11. We're almost at the end of our list, into the 9 best songs, according to our forum.

    9. Pearl Jam - Better Man (Vitalogy, 1994)
I chose this performance because of the great snippet and the crowd. Its one of my favorite versions. You can compare Better Man with Streets, the album version is great but when its get played live it turns into epic.''Talkin' to herself, there's no one else who needs to know, she tells herself, memories back when she was bold and strong and waiting for the world to come along''

    8. U2 - The Fly (Achtung Baby, 1991)
U2 at their coolest, the guitar, the drumming, how they look, and the lyrics. Everything is just awesome; '' A man will rise, a man will fall. From the sheer face of love, like a fly from a wall''

    7. R.E.M - Losing My Religion (Out Of Time, 1991)
A remarkable high position for band who broke up last year. This song isnt about losing your faith (religion) but about being a man who loses his wife and getting depressed. ''The slip that brought me to my knees failed, what if all these fantasies come flailing around''
  12. Ahh, I thought The Fly would be in the Top 10. Should be higher though
