1. he's always happy as a child when he can pay tribute to The Who
Love reign o'er me one of the best songs ever! and Qudrophenia is an opera that everyone should listen at least once in his life

    great one Kieran thanx
  2. I've taken the dust off my dad's old copy of Rearviewmirror and I'm listening all through it. I hadn't heard some of these songs since maybe 6 years ago. Fantastic. Great way to start my PJ journey.

Welcome! I'm on a PJ journey as well.
  4. Yield is the only album I've listened more or less 'consistently' through the years, although I always knew it wasn't their best one. But something about it always hooked me. Maybe it was the excellent packaging

Better Man is still my favorite, but Wishlist is absolutely amazing to my eyes and might be a candidate to their best i.m.o.
  5. Buy Ten.

    (If you haven't.)
  6. We have it in vinyl/vynil (FUCK).
  7. Rearviewmirror is a great compilation.

I can't stop listening to that epic version of 'Love Reign O'er Me'. It's absoutely fantastic. I'm now learning to play it on guitar.

Given To Fly One of my PJ favorites. But their best is still Black for me

  10. You know I'll never ever learn the right spelling. Well, maybe if I have to write it on WordFeud sometime......

Given To Fly is amazing as well, but I still can't find the 'utter greatness' of Black. Maybe 10 more listens and I'll be there
  11. Yield has many excellent tracks (and a couple of weak ones).

Yield will always have a special place in my heart as it came out in 1998 - the year I went overseas for a year. The album sort of acted as a soundtrack for my trip. Also, I saw the band in Auckland that year. Awesome show.
  12. here a nice document of a Mother Love Bone show back in 1988
